Kipling's Social Responsibility

Kipling’s corporate culture encourages and empowers our employees to give back to the communities that we operate and live in. We participate, support, and volunteer with a wide range of charities and organizations that are helping families, children, and causes across our country.

Kipling offers paid days off to allow employees to volunteer their services for causes they support, and we also offer a mechanism for employees to seek financial support for their personal causes. As an example, a number of our female employees are actively involved in the CREW Network, which works to influence the success of the commercial real estate industry by advancing the achievements of women. Our team regularly raises money and participates in the JDRF Real Estate Ride, Bikes for Tykes Ride, and other charitable industry events as well.

Kipling Group is a proud sponsor of the Professional Women’s Hockey Players Association and an annual contributor to the MLSE Foundation, Sick Kids Hospital, CREW Network, Villa Charities Foundation, Hold’em for Life Charity Challenge, Children’s Aid Foundation, and the Camrost-Felcorp Charity Golf Tournament.

Kipling is committed to reducing its environmental footprint. This begins at our head office where we incorporate green initiatives into our business operations through an employee-led sustainability committee. In our properties, we continuously examine and apply leading edge sustainability practices for the betterment of building occupants and the environment.
